Telehandlers (aka teleporter, reach forklift, cherry picker) are like forklifts, except they have a boom. On the end of the boom, you can fit one of several attachments, including a bucket, muck grab, winch, or pallet forks. These machines can also work with a crane jib.
Telehandlers are common in agriculture and industry. with the increased versatility of a single telescopic or articulating boom that can extend forwards and upwards from the vehicle.
Consider renting or purchasing one of these machines if:
- You need to move loads to/from places a forklift cannot reach
- The job requires you to move cargo to high places (i.e. rooftops) or up and over high barriers
- The job involves electrical work
